Daytime events for Halloween 2021
Watch The Darkness Between Us: a spooky play

Watch Echoes: an immersive horror experience

An immersive horror experience set in a chocolate factory? Sounds great. Unfortunately, there’s not much chocolate chomping in Echoes and more scrambling around for clues in an abandoned basement – but it will be terrifying, at least.

Take a ghost walk around London Bridge
This 90-minute walking tour will teach you all about the murderers, body snatchers and haunted landmarks around London Bridge. It ends at a pub that’s haunted by a ghost dog, although we’re guessing many attendees will be there for a pint.

Date: Saturday 23rd October

Trapped in a room with a zombie
How can you make an escape room more exciting? Put a live zombie in it, of course. Said zombie is chained to the wall, but the chain will gradually get longer as you try and solve puzzles and find the key to the exit. Will you sacrifice your friends to escape? We know what we’d do.
Location: Bunker 51, SE7 8NJ
Date: Weekdays/Weekends

Where can I buy fancy dress for Halloween?
Fancy Dress Town
This is the ultimate bazaar of the bizarre, with costumes and accessories that span the terrifying, funny and downright weird. Be warned – you might end up popping in for a pair of fangs and end up waltzing back out onto the street in high heels, a feather boa and a leopard-patterned leotard.

Academy Costumes
Here’s a good bet if you’re searching for a vintage 20th-century look with a bit of post-war flair. Perhaps an Al Capone pinstripe suit, or a bejewelled zombie flapper after a Great Gatsby bash gone wrong.
