We love to #SupportLocal – Reay Primary School SW9
At Leonard Leese we love to support local businesses, charities and schools because we care about our local community!
In recent years we have seen a shift away from shopping and eating at big retailers, and a move towards supporting smaller businesses and in turn helping the improvement of our communities. It’s beneficial for the small businesses we support- and us too as an independent estate agents!
One way that we support the community is by working with Reay Primary School contributing prize donations and sponsorship’s that help to fund their pupils educational activities, supplies and equipment.
Why are we are so passionate about helping Reay Primary?
The school in Lambeth, SW9, base their ethos in focusing their time on children’s individual needs and investing as much as they can to kick-start a young child’s schools career. With smaller classes and many extra curricular activities for the kids to get stuck in to; Reay pride themselves in creating a community for the children and parents to encourage new learning experiences!
In 2015, Reay Primary took part in the English Touring Opera which we helped sponsor.
In this production the children of different schools from around Vauxhall were able to create an Opera from scratch, based loosely on the fables of Aesop.
The children who took part in the Opera wrote lyrics and helped create the songs that were featured in the show. It was greatly received by pupils and parents and we were proud to be able to fund this project!

We love to get involved with raising money for Reay Primary in any way we can. For their recent Summer Fete in June,we donated £100 towards a fabulous meal for two at the OXO Tower for their raffle.
Two lucky winners will get to enjoy a beautiful evening at the OXO Brasserie restaurant which has amazing views of London- we are very jealous!
Congratulations to those two winners and hopefully we can share the photo of their dinner soon!
The team at Leonard Leese look forward to helping out Reay Primary with future projects and seeing the great things they can do!
