It appears that you were all busy searching online over the Christmas period as we saw a surge in our website visitors from 26-28th December and our friends at Rightmove backed up these figures by reporting a staggering 25 million pages views on one day alone!
According to Rightmove Intel (House pricing index – January 21st) early indications show that the market is moving with a 5% rise in home-hunting compared to last year. On the lettings side, it has been reported that asking rent’s in London rose to an all-time high by the end of 2018, however available rental stock is down. (Rental price tracker Q4 2018).
The demand we are seeing locally is encouraging and with an active qualified database of tenants and buyers covering the main residential areas of South East London including the popular borough’s of Southwark, Bermondsey, Elephant & Castle to name a few, we are always on the look our for the perfect property/tenant match for our clients.
On another note, we are pressing ahead with fundraising ideas for the upcoming year, continuing our support for the young homeless in partnership with Depaul UK and looking for new ways to bring opportunities to these young people. In 2018, we raised £3k by running our ‘JustLet2Donate’ campaign over our peak months, where we contributed £50 of every let property to the cause.
